Edmund Randolph


- Edmund Randolph was born on August 10th, 1753 in Tazewell Hall, Williamsburg, Virginia
- He was born to Ariana Jenings and John Randolph.
- At 23, he was the conventions youngest member.
- In 1776, Edmund Randolph married Elizabeth Nicholas.
- Edmund was voted to be mayor of Williamsburg and Virginias Attorney-General.
- In 1779, Randolph was elected to the continental congress.
- In November, 1786, Randolph became governor of Virginia.
- On May 29, 1787, Edmund presented the Virginia plan for creating a new government.
- In 1786, he was a delegate to the Annapolis convention.
- On September 12th, 1813, Edmund Randolph died in Millwood, Virginia.
